Refunds & Cancellation
At the time of delivery, you can return anything you are not happy with and we will make the necessary adjustments to your order value.
If a product is returned due to a change of mind, or for a reason other than the quality of the product, and your order value falls below our minimum order requirement, you will be assessed an additional delivery fee.
If you have already paid for the returned item (through an online transaction, or subscription), a credit will be offered for future transactions. For a particular item, a partial refund is not possible. For example, if you are unhappy with 3 out of 7 cucumber pieces, you must return all 7 pieces.
Please send us your complaint on time for a quick, hassle-free resolution! We will accept complaints and offer returns for perishable items within 24 hours, and non-perishables that are reported within 7 days from the time of purchase.
Perishable goods - fresh fruits and vegetables, fresh bakery items (breads and muffins).
Complaints containing only one photograph will be considered so that we can verify it on our behalf and accordingly issue a credit or replacement for the complaint.
Returns must be in original packaging with at least 75% of the volume intact.
Complaints and Quality:
For complaints we receive after delivery related to quality issues, a credit will be offered for the next delivery.
Complaints received after 2 days of delivery of fresh produce (fruits and vegetables) will be processed on a case-by-case basis. This is because some perishable or tender vegetables do not have a shelf life longer than this.
We guarantee freshness at the time of delivery, so we encourage people to send complaints ideally at or soon after delivery so that refunds/credits can be processed more easily.
There are certain characteristics of organic products that need to be accepted by the customers. In cases where the customer does not accept this, he has the option to return the products at the time of delivery, however, a refund or credit will not be accepted after payment. Following are some examples:
The product may be of uneven size, not too shiny or too big. But the inside should be good. Organic is not all about the overall look and does not rely on artificial growth promoters or chemicals to enhance physical appeal. Vegetables look just as nature wanted them to. This can be very evident in the cases of things like apples, which are otherwise infamous for heavy chemical and wax use (to keep them looking pretty), while in some cases vegetables will look no different from a chemically grown vegetable.
There may be slight changes in color, shape and taste during the vegetable season. Again, this is because the characteristics of the vegetable can change with the seasons.
On rare occasions, customers find one or two insects inside a vegetable. We are not talking about a large bug that has eaten a piece of vegetable, but rather a small bug inside a cucumber, or a piece of okra or brinjal. It won't happen very often, but it can happen occasionally. This is actually proof that it's organic! A simple solution is to cut off a small portion of the insect and use the rest. You can boil the vegetable thoroughly to be safe.
